Hey guys my name is Shawn and I'm from Southeastern Virginia and I go to Radford University in the mountains of VA. I'm currently a sophomore and next year I plan to transfer to Belmont University in Nashville (or UNA as my 2nd choice) after this year. I've visted the school and city of Nashville a couple times and I honestly couldn't picture myself living anywhere else. It feels like home to me. This blog is mainly about country music and things that inspire me. I love God, concerts, fishin, pretty much anything dealing with the outdoors, my friends, my family, and I am blessed to live in the U.S.A. I have been a country music fan ever since I can remember. I remember being 4 or 5 years old and my grandma playing Elvis Presley and all kinds of country artists all the time. Ever since then I've been hooked. I started playing guitar in my early to mid teens and I'm in love with it. I've been writing songs and lyrics since I was about 14. It's how I cope with almost anything in my life and it's probably my favorite thing to do. I can't wait to call Nashville home .
